Getting Back to Golf – Mini Course

  • Flexibility & Exercise (Online Course)

    Flexibility & Exercise (Online Course)

    $47.00

Many of our students find there are certain points in the Single Plane Swing that they just can’t reach, certain positions they can’t quite get into. This isn’t a fault of the swing itself … nor is it due to any lack of desire or effort on the part of each student. Instead, it’s a simple matter of conditioning … and flexibility.

There’s not a whole lot to say ABOUT flexibility – I mean, you’ve either got it, or you haven’t. And if you haven’t, you’re probably painfully aware of the fact. Nonetheless, you might still wonder…

    • How do you know whether or not you have “enough” flexibility?
    • How exactly does a loss of flexibility affect your enjoyment of the game?
    • And what can you do to gain it back … even if it’s been a long, long time since you’d consider yourself a “Gumby”?

So we enlisted the aid of Class “A” PGA Professional, Certified Golf Fitness Trainer, and Graves Golf Academy Master Instructor, Dave Predzin to show you the quickest and easiest way to build flexibility in your joints … and even more strength in your muscles. (We’re not looking to make an Olympic athlete out of you … but golf definitely is an athletic endeavor, so you just know this is gonna help your game!)

Dave begins by walking you through several “screenings” or tests, to determine where you might have flexibility or strength challenges that are interfering with getting maximum results from your golf swing … and ultimately maximum enjoyment of the game.

Then he shares some simple exercises meant to loosen-up and strengthen those “problem areas”.

Dave is joined by Graves Golf alumnus Jeff Roberts – just a regular, average golfer, 68 years young, looking to get into better shape for golf – and Graves Golf Academy co-founder Tim Graves.

After Jeff does each test, Tim then performs the same test, to show you how it should look for a passing grade.

Here are the typical “trouble zones” Jeff covers:

    • Ankles & Calves
    • Knees & Quads (the muscles on the front of your thigh)
    • Hamstrings & Lower Back
    • Hips and Pelvic Rotation
    • Core Strength
    • Posture
    • Balance
    • Spine and Torso Rotation
    • Shoulders & Arms
    • Hands & Wrists

As we examine each common trouble zone, testing for problems and showing you how to improve your strength and flexibility in each area … we continually refer back to the Single Plane Swing, and how each area figures into it (as well as explaining how your performance of the swing, and the results you get, are affected by any flexibility issues there).

Because flexibility (or rather the lack or loss of it) is such a major problem for most golfers … we definitely didn’t want to scrimp on this one. That’s why it runs an incredible 1 hour, 27 minutes, and 12 seconds! Think about it – that’s feature film length!

    Improve Your Move (Online Course)

    $47.00

It’s the Most Critical Moment in the Golf Swing…And Almost EVERY Amateur Screws It Up!

Watch this Video to Discover Moe’s “Magic Move” and How You Can Quickly and Easily Master this Crucial Swing Element and Start Hitting Straighter, Longer Shots…

Some of my fondest memories are of standing on the range, watching Moe Norman hit golf balls…

It was an amazing sight to see. Every shot would sail long and true, on the same boring trajectory, in a straight line. I’ve never seen anything like it, nor has the world of golf, ever since.

One day I was studying Moe’s swing extra closely, trying to figure out the secret that brought everything together into such a powerful force with perfect impact position. Was it the extra wide stance? The spine tilt at address? The arms extended on the same plane as the shaft? The quirky follow through and finish?

But as much as I racked my brain, I couldn’t put my finger on one specific thing. There was so much happening in Moe’s swing, it was difficult to pin down the real key to his remarkable distance and consistency.

So finally, I flat out asked him—

“Moe, What’s the REAL Secret of Your Swing”?

He looked at me, grinned that toothless grin of his, and said, “That’s easy Todd—it’s Buckle, Sit, Slide, and Bump.”

WHAT? Now I was REALLY confused!

But Moe went on to explain, detailing what each word meant and how it pertained to the most critical moment in the Single Plane Swing.

And Suddenly, the Light Went On…

Just like that, I saw what the secret of Moe’s swing was, and the “magic move” that brought all of the principles of the Single Plane Swing into perfect synchronization and delivered a smashing blow to the golf ball. It was so simple, so incredibly easy,

I Laughed at Myself Because I Hadn’t Seen it Earlier!

However, for easy as the “magic move” was to discover, I see very few amateur golfers actually DOING it in their golf swing.

It’s true—they’ve got all the other parts of the Single Plane Swing performing as they’re supposed to, but the results are far from stellar. The slices, hooks, tops, and duffs are still there, plaguing their every round. And they’re scratching their head because they have no clue why it’s not working.

Sound familiar? I’ll bet there’s more than a few of you out there nodding your heads in agreement. But I’ve got great news for you today…

If you can give me just an hour or so of your time, I’ll reveal the “magic move” to you, and explain in great detail how every Single Plane golf swing virtually lives—and dies—on this one crucial moment.

Then, I’ll show you the fastest, easiest roadmap to implementing this move into your own swing, bringing a quick stop to all those wayward shots and eliminating the frustrations you’re feeling during every round.

I Call it the “Improve Your Move” System…

Inside my Improve Your Move DVD, I’ll hand you the secrets to Moe’s “magic move” in an easy-to-understand way that traditional golf instruction has never been able to teach…

We’ll huddle together and break it all down—from the moment of transition to the moment of impact—and look closely at what each part of the body is doing to maximize distance and accuracy, and how you can easily work these same key factors into your own swing.

Then, I’ll guide you through a series of training drills and flexibility exercises specifically engineered to put everything on fast-forward, virtually accelerating the “improving your move” process to blazing speeds and getting you on the fast track to better scores (and a fatter wallet on the 19th hole) in less time than you would think.

Soon, That Same Light Will Come On for You Too…

As you finally see what your swing has been missing all this time. And you’ll kick yourself for not getting this DVD sooner!

And here’s another look at what we’ll cover inside Improve Your move…

Ever wondered what it would be like to see what a professional golfer sees while teeing off or playing a round, from their perspective? What if you could stand “inside “ their swing and experience it?

More specifically, what if you could stand “inside” the swing of Moe Norman, golf’s greatest ball-striker, and SEE and FEEL his swing. Well, now you can.

Inside the Single Plane Swing is a groundbreaking approach to help you SEE and FEEL Moe Norman’s Single Plane Golf Swing. Taking a holistic and multi-sensory approach, Inside the Single Plane Swing gives you insight into exactly what you should be visualizing and feeling throughout the entire Single Plane Swing motion.

Through the power of technology and Point of View (POV) video, Todd Graves takes you “inside” to learn what your feet, legs, hips, arms and hands should feel like at address, in the backswing, in transition and ultimately at impact and release.

By understanding the Single Plane Swing from the “inside,” you can practice visualizations, perspectives and approaches to create your own biomechanical feeling of the Single Plane Swing.

Most importantly, you can learn what Moe Norman called, the “Feeling of Greatness.”

“How in the $%&! Did He Hit It That Far?”

Why the “Little Guys” on Tour are KILLING the Ball (and How You Can Instantly Steal Their Secret to Big-Dog Distance) …

While today’s amateur golfers aren’t gaining any distance to speak of, the PGA pros are hitting it farther than ever before.

It’s true. Just 35 years ago, the average driving distance for a PGA player was around the 255-yard mark. Today, it’s closer to 290.

And that’s ON AVERAGE! Which means half the pros on the tour are blowing past it on a regular basis!

For most amateurs to get even close to that kind of distance, you’d need a rock hard ball…a dry, firmly-packed fairway that slopes downhill…and no rough, trees, or water within sight. Oh, and a nice stiff wind at your back wouldn’t hurt.

But Here’s the Most Sickening Part…

Most of today’s big hitters on the tour aren’t musclebound behemoths like Jason Zuback or others that you see in the long drive contests…

And they aren’t tall, lanky players like Dustin Johnson or Tony Finau, who can generate mind-boggling ball speeds with those spaghetti-like arms…

No, in a physical sense, most of the guys who are creaming it these days are pretty darn average. In fact, many of them are…well…kinda small.

    Take a look for yourself:

    • Rickie Fowler: 5’9”, 150 lbs.
    • Rory McIlroy: 5’9”, 161 lbs.
    • Sergio Garcia: 5’10”, 161 lbs.
    • Charles Howell III: 5’11”, 165 lbs.
    • Ryan Palmer: 5”11”, 174 lbs.

    And that’s just a handful.

These aren’t giant-sized Goliaths. They’re all under 6 feet tall. They’re all under 175 lbs. And yet, they ALL average around 300 yards in driving distance!

(Hang on…let me move that trashcan a little closer. I can see your face turning a little green right now).

    Gut Wrenching, But True…

These little guys are killing—and I mean KILLING—the ball when they tee off. Every week. Every hole.

    But HOW?

How can somebody who’s a fraction of your height or weight outdrive you by nearly 100 yards?

Well, hang on. Because I’m going to reveal EXACTLY why they’re knocking the cover off their Titleists and you’re only hitting it 220—if you’re lucky.

And regardless of what you’ve seen on TV or read in the golf magazines, it’s not the club. Or the ball. Or the fitness trainers. Or even the immaculate course conditions that’s causing this.

Sure, all of those play a part. But when we get right down to it,

There’s Only ONE Reason Why These Guys Are Bombing It Off the Planet Week After Week…

I’ll get to that in a minute. But first let me introduce myself…

My name is Todd Graves, and I’m the Co-Founder of Graves Golf. About 20 years ago, I had the life-changing experience of spending many days with the great Moe Norman, known commonly as the best ball striker ever.

And along the way, I realized that Moe’s Single Plane Swing was, by far, the easiest, most consistent way to swing a golf club. So I devoted my life to teaching his methods and helping as many golfers as I can to discover the magical simplicity of the Single Plane Swing.

Since then, we’ve helped thousands of golfers all over the globe hit longer shots, play more consistently, shoot lower scores, and a have a heckuva lot more fun playing golf with the Single Plane Swing.

But one question I always get from my students is this:

“Todd, I’m Hitting It Much Better with My Single Plane Swing. But How Can I Squeeze Out a Few More Yards?”

And to answer that question, I have to quote the great Mickey Goldmill, Rocky Balboa’s gravelly voiced boxing trainer in the early “Rocky” movies…

“First, We Gotta Get Speed…Demon Speed…Speed’s What We Need…”

    “…We Need GREASY, FAST SPEED!”

Mickey was right–it’s all about SPEED.

You see, PGA Tour players know how to create maximum speed at impact with minimal effort, resulting in those monster 300-plus blasts you see on the shot tracer…

And it doesn’t matter how big or tall they might be—that’s why many of the smaller, rail-thin guys can completely CRUSH their shots while most amateurs can barely get into the short grass. They know how to generate that whip-like speed when they need it most.

So how do they do it exactly? Check out this video clip analyzing the swing data of PGA Tour Player Justin Thomas. (Who, by the way, is 5’10 and 145 lbs., yet averages over 300 yard drives) …

So where does that leave you? Well, hang with me for second, because…

Here’s How to Put Your Swing on Steroids, Transforming it into a Virtual Speed Machine that Results in Higher, Longer, Fairway-Splitting Shots…

I call it the Science of Simplicity, and here’s how it works…

The Science of Simplicity: The Secret of Speed is my brand new DVD training. Inside, we focus on exactly that—creating more speed at impact—using the latest breakthroughs in body mechanics.

You see, the Single Plane Swing is truly a biomechanical masterpiece. It’s simple…it’s easy…and it’s technically perfect. And through my research, I’ve uncovered the key elements… the hidden swing mechanics…that make the Single Plane Swing work so well for both beginners and scratch golfers alike.

We’ll virtually take the average golfer apart. And then, applying the newly discovered Laws of Simplicity, we put him back together again…

What Are the Laws of Simplicity?

    • Reduce Movement: Less moving parts means less room for error. And to create more speed at impact, we have to first reduce the amount of moving parts in the swing. That’s why, in the Science of Simplicity, I’ll walk you step-by-step through the process of properly starting on a Single Plane, adjusting the spine angle for maximum results with minimal movement, and creating the optimal spacing between you and the ball.
    • Reduce Rotation: While many of those younger guys on the tour can flex like rubber bands, most of us more “seasoned” fellas don’t have that ability. But in the Science of Simplicity, I’ll reveal how you can actually use this to your advantage, handing you the key positions for your trailing hand, trailing shoulder and lead knee to create less rotation and give you an easier to learn, more repeatable swing path.
    • Increase Stability: Stress and pain on the lower back can turn every round into sheer agony. And the biggest cause of this is lack of stability in your swing. But in the Science of Simplicity, I’ll show you my never-fails method of better stabilizing your lower body using the muscles of your pelvic area, giving you a rock-solid platform to swing from and virtually eliminating those aches and pains.
    • Sequence into Speed: Even the most technically perfect swings get out of whack every now and then (just ask Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, etc.) That’s why, in this last section of the Science of Simplicity, focus on how to sequence all the elements of the swing to produce the ideal timing and the maximum speed into impact. THIS is how the little guys are bombing the ball every week. And this is what you’ll discover inside my DVD.

Plus, after every training segment, I’ll give you some very specific drills to help ingrain these principles into your swing quickly, so you can see the results FAST (instead of spending hours and hours trying to dig them out of the dirt).

When you go through the Science of Simplicity training and apply these 4 Laws of Simplicity, you’ll not only have a biomechanical advantage over your competitors, literally leaving them in the dust with your newfound distance…

…but you’ll simplify your golf game to a point where you don’t have to think about every shot—you’ll just step up and DO IT, knowing that every swing is on plane…on target…and on the money.

Who is the Science of Simplicity for?

    • Beginners: If you’re just getting into golf and looking for the fastest, easiest way to start hitting good shots on a regular basis, the Science of Simplicity is for you. We’ll break down the entire Single Plane Swing process and show you why it works so well. Then we’ll build it back up and put it all together again, creating an easy-to-follow roadmap for making a smooth, powerful swing every time.
    • Intermediates: Playing for a while but can’t seem to get over the hump? Then the Science of Simplicity can help. I’ll show you why certain elements of your swing are actually causing you to play poorly, and how the Science of Simplicity can put you on the right track to more distance, more consistency, and lower scores. And the best part? You don’t have to spend another $500 on a new driver!
    • Advanced: Single digit handicapper who’s ready to your game to the next level? The Science of Simplicity will give you that last little push, helping you to smooth out the creases and create maximum speed at impact and the consistency you desire. This is where the men are separated from the boys on the PGA Tour, and I’ll help you do the same on your home course.

BONUS DVD: Newly Unearthed, Never-Seen-Before Moe Norman Footage…

    Now here’s something I’m REALLY excited about…

When you order your Science of Simplicity training video today, I’ll throw in a BONUS DVD titled “Proof of Greatness: The Moe Norman Hall of Fame Video.” Inside, we’ll be joined by my good friend Mark Evershed, who met Moe when he was only 16 years old and followed him closely during his career…

Mark recently uncovered some lost film footage of him and Moe on the range, just casually chatting about golf, life, swing mechanics, tournament memories and more. All the while, Moe is striping ball after ball with his steel shafted, persimmon head driver—straight as a string and barely wavering from the intended line.

    Then comes my FAVORITE part…

Moe grabs a wedge and a bucket of balls, dumping them about 100 yards from the green. What follows is a short game clinic that would make Phil Mickelson’s eyes pop out. It’s absolutely UNREAL how Moe controls every shot and places them softly within easy birdie putt range (and more than a few gimmes to boot!) …

Plus, we’ll even take an EXTREMELY RARE look at Moe’s swing from an overhead vantage point. This is particularly astounding, since it’s something I had never seen before. You can really see the rotation of the body, shoulders, hips, and club movement. Everything that can easily get lost in a straight on or down-the-line view is instantly revealed in this never-seen-before overhead footage.

All this, plus Moe’s special style of bunker play and much more, and it’s yours today for FREE with your Science of Simplicity order.

If you’ve been to one of my schools in the last couple of years, you more than likely heard me talk, maybe more than you would have cared to hear, about the biomechanics and physics behind the single plane swing. But it has paid off.

You Finally Get To DECODE Moe’s Swing!

I, with the help of my team and some of most cutting-edge 3-D and physics modeling software and video production equipment in the world, have distilled the subtleties of Moe’s commentary and swing into something real and tangible.

After hours of modeling and studio work, in combination with the rare, nearly-lost-forever footage of Moe, I’ve made a huge leap forward in my understanding, but more importantly, my ability to CONVEY that understanding to my students.

And for the first time ever, I’m combining this never-before-seen footage of Moe in action with the cutting edge physics and 3-D modeling work that distills Moe’s feelings into an actionable system of swing steps and body positions into one multi-DVD box set.

And that’s not all! These first two DVDs in this training create a core understanding of these consistency-focussed, muscle-memory swing motions.

Disc 3 we’re adding another layer – “Moe’s Short Game.” This DVD takes the same principles of biomechanics and efficient swing motions established in the first two discs and applies them to…

    Speed & Distance (Online Course)

    $47.00

Contrary to popular belief … when it comes to hitting a golf ball further, there’s a big difference between “speed” and “distance”.

Because the distance the ball travels is dependent on SEVERAL factors – with club head speed being only one of them…

Now you’re about to discover not only how to develop greater speed in your club … but various positions, techniques, and procedures that help maximize the EFFECT this increased club head speed has on ball travel for greater distance, including:

    • Stabilization
    • Hand speed
    • Leverage
    • Arm motion
    • Impact
    • Power generation, and…
    • Follow-through

We look at how to get the most out of the lower body in its role as a “stabilizer” … and how to optimize your upper body as a “speed producer”.

We’ll explore what makes your trailing hand such a major speed factor … and why, even when you’re “basically” using a Single Plane Swing, if your grip isn’t correct you can still lose a considerable amount of speed and distance. (So don’t ever believe those guys who say “WHICH grip you use isn’t important, as long as you’re comfortable”.)

We also go into great depth on…

    • How to increase “range of motion” and flexibility in your wrists and then translate that increased flexibility into greater hand speed
    • Exercises for hand and wrist strength like Wrist-Rolling, and the Paper-Crusher
    • How to use an upside-down club to increase hand speed
    • Developing lower back strength and stability (because although back pain is often the result of bad technique … it can also be due to a lack of flexibility in the hips and spine)
    • How much knee flex you should be using (and you’ll see an old video of Moe, showing just how much you COULD be using!)
    • The effect shoulder turn and hip movement they have on your swing and distance … along with how to overcome any challenges in these areas.
    • My secrets to driving a ball 200 yards … while sitting on a stool!!!
    • How to use a magic marker to train yourself to hit solidly … as well as how to monitor club path
    • And of course, since what happens AFTER impact can be just as important as what happened before … I’m also going to share with you the same Post-Impact Drill that Moe taught me, so long ago. (This one helps your leg muscles “feel” and “memorize” where they should be finishing. Moe considered this so critically important that he would often spend hours a day in this position

And do you know how much of a divot you should be taking on each shot? You’ll find out, starting at around the 27 minute mark. (The 1.5 Drill will help you get it right, as it helps you nail the right “angle of approach” with your irons. Then later on, we’ll nail down the same thing on your Driver.)

Of course, for you to maximize distance, all this new-found (or newly-developed) speed, strength, and flexibility must be coupled together with the proper technique

…because nothing plays a greater role in distance and accuracy than making solid contact with the ball (always of great importance!) while moving through the correct swing path (now aren’t you glad you also grabbed the Single Plane Swing program?)

And there’s lots more that I haven’t even mentioned here – in fact, this one program alone is packed with three-quarters of an hour of training. And every bit of it focuses on developing greater speed and distance!
